MALAMIG ANG SIMOY NG HANGIN
September 23, 2008Ang lamig kahapon ano? hehe..
Mahangin.

MAYBELYN & THE SCARSDALE DIET
At 19, actress Maybelyn dela Cruz swears she’s feeling more confident about her body. Being able to enjoy dressing up is a bonus. Back when she was a five-foot 15-year-old, Maybelyn weighed 140+ pounds and had a 34-inch waistline. Thanks to the Scarsdale Medical Diet formulated by the late physician, cardiologist, and dietician Dr. Herman Tarnower, Maybelyn succeeded on losing more than 10 pounds in two weeks!
PROBLEM: Her mom’s side of the family tends toward bigness. Maybelyn easily gains and loses weight.
DECIDING FACTOR: On the set of “Home Along da Riles”, comedian Smokey Manaloto began teasing Maybelyn about her weight. Her reaction: lose it.
THE PLAN: The Scarsdale Medical Diet is based on Dr. Tarnower’s belief that “a good diet must be palatable, safe, satisfying and uncomplicated.” He adds that “it must show results in a reasonably short period of time,” and “it must help to develop a lifetime pattern of good eating habits so that the weight will stay lost.”
It’s a high-protein and very-low-carbohydrates diet. A three-meal-a-day menu from Monday to Sunday should be strictly followed for two weeks. After this regimen, if you’re satisfied with your weight, you can eat food normally again, but in moderation. And if you’re not satisfied, take a two-week break and do the program again.
No one should go on this diet without the full approval of a personal physician. This is particularly true of pregnant women and persons with medical problems.
PROMISE: You will lose 12-20 pounds in 2 weeks (average of one pound a day).
SUPLEMENTS TAKEN: She took Centrum as multivitamins, but this is not required.
PRO: “Very effective in a very short time,” says Maybelyn. “Keeps you feeling full.”
CON: You will experience “pangangatog” during the first week. And because Maybelyn liked eating rice, she had a difficult time adjusting to the method.
RESULT: First timers will see results faster, according to Maybelyn. Expect to lose at least one pound a day. She lost 16 pounds in two weeks. Note: she accompanied the diet with aerobics and weightlifting.

YOU’RE A BAD PARENT!!!!
September 16, 2008Why do other parents treat their child like hell…?Why can’t you just be satisfied and love your babies…?
Why can’t you trust and forgive your child if they’ve done something that you don’t like…?
Why can’t you learn from your mistakes and not to repeat what was done to you by your bad parents..?
For some reason.. You are a Bad Parent…!!!
That’s why some kids turn to bad then they become bad parent too… just like you…!!!
Why would you adopt a child if you can’t treat them as your own…?
Why do some father rape their own child…?
Why do wives still love their husband even if they already knew he was raping her daughter?
Why do parents drink and do drugs than to work their ass off so they can serve food in the table every single day…?
Why oh why?
haha… last night a friend of mine have a friend who was sent out (you know, pinalayas.. haha)– and blahblahlah.. confidential na.. pero un.. wla lang.. why oh why lang.. ahaha.. =P
how could you.. for me.. ang babaw ng dahilan ng ginawa nung friend ni friend para sya ganunin… hmpf…

Pick this pieces of advice folks!!!
1. Listen to the explanation of your child..
- Unfair ka kapag hindi mo inalam ang totoong dahilan.. You should understand every side of the issue before you judge or punish your child..
2. Be careful on what words you use to discipline your child…
-because you lower their self-esteem.. which can actually affect them until adulthood.. and mind you that’s the cause of distortion..
3. Stop comparing us to other people.. ok..
-for me I uber hate people comparing me to another relative, a cousin, or a friend or peer. I mean.. what the f.. This is me.. a unique one.. so continue wishing that I wasn’t your daughter, friend, girlfriend, enemy or whatsoever.. ok..
Why can’t you just let us know what are you’re expectations/what you want and we’ll get it when we come to our senses.. haha.. trust me..
4. When you hurt us… accidentally or not.. Say a f-in word “Sorry”..
- say it like you mean it.. ok.. we are not perfect, so sometimes we hurt our children.. but that’s not the proper way of disciplining your child.. Not at all times.. may result to various effect — in positive and negative way.. this topic is kinda broad so matagal iexplain gets nyo na dapat yan ok kung may utak kayo.. haha.. joke!!! Pounder on this line.. “Am I helping or hurting my child..” of course you’re a egosism jerk.. you will say your right but please.. listen to your coconut.. or other’s advice.. their the one who can see what’s happening..
5. Stop shouting!!! ok..
- we can hear you and yes sometimes we can’t help but to shout.. but please.. we are just little angels and even though were little demons.. you should not talk like that.. because hello.. sainyo kami nakakapulot ng paguugali.. and obviously your child won’t tell you secrets.. they won’t trust you on sensitive things.. and worse.. they will hate you.. they will not want to here your voice ever! and who wants a mama na “bungangera” ha? tell me… wahahah.. wala! pati you can explain your side in a calm way… and hindi malakas na tone noh.. hellooooo…
6. Don’t tell us to shut up..!!!
- because it make us feel like shit… we all have different opinion but please don’t let us feel like dirt.. you may say this as an alternative.. “zip it [name].. let me talk first..” or “am I not talking here.. you listen to me first, then you can talk after I talk..”
7. Don’t push us away..
- when you’re feeling down.. and your daughter asked you why.. don’t shoo us away.. or say the popular line “leave me alone.. ” F you… your child wants to know why are you sad.. why can’t you just say.. “Mommy is hurt.. and she needs some space to pull her self together sweetie..” [haha.. tae.. i know its corny but it’s better than whatevah..] or just hug your son/daughter… don’t say a word.. but let them feel loved.. haha..
8. Make us feel like peace, love and happiness..
- hello parents.. You are the only person in this world who can make their child happy.. don’t tell us that we’re ugly.. and don’t lie to us also.. Just let us feel.. like we are the most beautiful person in the world.. you know.. do you get me..? like love us.. don’t have favoritism to other anaks.. ok.. tell some bed time story while your children is still young… Kahit minsan lang.. To make them feel like you know.. special.. Important… make lambing with your child.. have sometime to play with them.. to make harot with them.. to make habulan with them.. [ahaha.. u know me spokening dalar… haha..] don’t curse us or regret that you wished you didn’t have us at all.. or tell that we are stupid or whatsoever.. Why can’t you just understand that you are stupid and we just got that from you.. hehe… kidding man!!!.. haha… Seriously why can’t you just say things that may improve our skills or attitude.. ok… Comfort us when we are hurt.. Hello.. bata pa yan.. at kahit matanda na siya.. kailangan pa din un.. dahil di makuha ang true comfort sa friends..
And lastly… Watch happy slip video THE CHILL PILL…
- you need a chill pill.. ok.. chill pill is the answer to chaos.. haha..
Don’t wait for the moment that you will regret that you even say or hurt your children… ok.. kayo din.. baka patayin kayo ng anak nyo.. haha.. joke..
Remember that you’re JUST A PARENT.. you don’t control us.. you just guide us…
God told us to HONOR OUR FATHER AND MOTHER.. but God didn’t say that parents can control the future of their children.. haha.. like what to wear, what to major in, what gown to wear on their wedding day.. what car they should buy.. aarg… please.. Napaka common.. so let’s try not to make a lot of boo boos to our children.. Make up our mind.. Ask a doctor.. hehe..
Yes we are not perfect.. but you could try not to hurt the feelings of your children.. It’s never to late to change for the good..
Now ok, I know I’m no body for you to take advice with.. but.. sometimes.. it helps..
Discipline your child in a proper way.. Discipline your child at home.. so they know how to act in public.. we can beat them but do it only when necessary and if they’ve done a huge huge mistake or sin whatever. Don’t beat the hell out of them everyday.. try to punish them accordingly to what they have done… Kung di madaan sa santong usapan.. daanin sa santong paspasan.. haha.. syempre.. iba ang matandang bata at batang bata.. ok.. PATI LAST NA..
WHY CAN’T YOU ACCEPT YOUR CHILD AS A WHOLE…?
WHY CAN’T YOU JUST THANK THE LORD FOR GIVING YOU A LAZY SON RATHER THAN A DRUG ADDICT SON..?
WHY CAN’T YOU JUST BE THANKFUL THAT YOUR DAUGHTER IS A PHOTOGRAPHY THAN A MAJONGERA OR BUGAW..?
WHY CAN’T YOU BE THANKFUL THAT YOUR CHILD IS WHATEVER THEY WANT TO BE THAN DOING NOTHING BUT TO GIVE YOU PAIN IN THE ASS AND SPENDING YOUR WEALTH JUST LIKE THAT..?
WHY CAN’T YOU JUST BE CONTENTED ON WHAT YOUR CHILD CAN DO AND HIS/HER LIMITATIONS…?
WHY CAN’T YOU BE SATISFY…? JUST BE THANKFUL.. IKAW DIN MAKIKINABANG KAPAG SINOPORTAHAN MO ANAK MO!!!

ONE LAPTOP PER CHILD PHILIPPINES (OLPCP)
September 10, 2008My good friend Rowen Iral is the team leader of this project. OLPC Philippines is accessible at http://wiki.laptop.org/go/OLPC_Philippines. One Laptop Per Child Philippines is an education project.
OLPC / XO Philippine Team Photo gallery. OLPCPH Project management Click here OLPCPH Forum: Click here Want to be their Sponsor, donate and fund the project. Please contact them. Are you an engineer, educator or ethical hacker? Maybe a Linux lover or so. Please contact us to help in this education project.
OLPCP Vision To lead in the Education Project that will really empower and change how we educate the children in the Philippines as well as the world. OLPCP Mission To have improvement by enlightening the Filipinos in EDUCATION SYSTEM DISCIPLINE TECHNOLOGY PROGRESS
“One laptop per child” is a concept. It is an education project, not a laptop project. It can be implemented in more than one way, by no means limited to the embodiment of the OLPC non-profit association’s so-called “$100 Laptop.” The argument for olpc is simple: many children-especially those in rural parts of developing countries-have so little access to school-in some cases just a tree-that building schools and training teachers is only one way-perhaps the slowest way-to alleviate the situation. While such building programs and teacher education must not stop, another and parallel method advised by OLPC is to leverage the children themselves by engaging them more directly in their own learning. It may sound implausible to equip the poorest children with connected laptops when rich children may not have them, but it is not. Laptops can be affordable and children are more capable than they are given credit for.

HACKER noun. 1. A person who enjoys learning the details of computer systems and how to stretch their capabilities… 2. One who Programs enthusiastically or who enjoys programming rather than just theorizing about programming.
What is a Hacker?
-Old School Hackers: 1960’s style Stanford or MIT hackers. Do not have malicious intent, but do have lack of concern for privacy and proprietary information. They believe the Internet was designed to be an open system.
-Script Kiddies or Cyber-Punks: Between 12-30l predominantly white and male; bored in school; get caught due to bragging online; intent is to vandalize or disrupt systems.
-Professional Criminals or Crackers: Make a living by breaking into systems and selling the information.
-Coders and Virus Writers: See themselves as an elite; programming background and write code but won’t use it themselves; have their own networks called “zoos”; leave it to others to release their code into “The Wild” or Internet.
What is Ethical Hacking?
-Ethical Hacking – defined “methodology adopted by ethical hackers to discover the vulnerabilities existing in information systems’ operating environments.”
-With the growth of the internet, computer security has become a major concern for businesses and governments.
-In their search for a way to approach the problem, organizations came to realize that one of the best ways to evaluate the intruder threat to their interests would be to have independent computer security professionals attempt to break into their computer systems.

Who are Ethical Hackers?
-“One of the best ways to evaluate the intruder threat is to have an independent computer security professionals attempt to break their computer systems”
-Successful ethical hackers possess a variety of skills. First and foremost, they must be completely trustworthy.
-Ethical hackers typically have very strong programming and computer networking skills.
-They are also adept at installing and maintaining systems that use the more popular operating systems used on target systems.
-These base skills are augmented with detailed knowledge of the hardware and software provided by the more popular computer and networking hardware vendors.
What do Ethical Hackers do?
-An ethical hacker’s evaluation of a system’s security seeks answers to these basic question:
-What can an intruder see on the target systems?
-What can an intruder do with that information?
-Does anyone at the target notic the intruder’s attempts or successes?
-What are you trying to protect?
-What are you trying to protect against?
-How much time, effort and money are you willing to expend to obtain adequate protection?
